After educating children as a Speech Pathologist and Teacher for the Hearing Impaired for 9 years, Jan began a new career in real estate in 1988. Her first year brought her the honor of "Rookie of the Year' for her office and from there she soared as a Top Producer for the next 8 years. With almost 10 years as a Branch Vice President for a Carroll County branch of a nationally recognized franchise, Jan opened the doors to Old Westminster Realty, Inc. Raised as a community pharmacist's daughter, she learned first hand what exemplary customer service encompassed and has now taken the skills she learned from her father and offers the same outstanding customer care that you deserve. PERSONAL BACKGROUND: I have been married for 29 years and
have 3 wonderful children. I have been in business for 25 years as the
owner of Chillson Translating Service - a company that translates
patentsand scientific documents for patent lawyers and
corporations. I have also recieved my B.A. and M.A. in political
science. When I can, I play the organ and piano for differnt church and
nursing home services. I am also very active in animal rescue,
particularly with horses and cats.

been to be honest, dependable and hard-working. I always look out for
my clients' needs and make every effort to help them reach their goals.
As a Realtor, I believe that it is important to be my client's

PERSONAL BACKGROUND: Farmland, horses, and other livestock are important to me...always have been. I have worked in nurseries and on farms since I was 13. I have a degree in Agri-business from Delaware Valley College. In 1999 my family bought a farm and I started my own business - Chillson Fields Farms. I also have landscaping expertise.
