PERSONAL BACKGROUND: Terri has been a resident of Carroll County for over twenty-seven years and believes this county is one of the most beautiful in the state. Before becoming licensed as a real estate agent, in 2004, Terri enjoyed taking exploratory excursions to discover the county's back roads and farmlands. Her prior background was as a Mammographic Radiologic Technologist, where she helped save the lives of countless women by performing their yearly X-Ray exam as well as assisting surgeons when biopsies were needed. In addition she worked for several years doing research studies in the field of Osteoporosis. Retired now from X-Ray, Terri still continues to have a strong desire to help others and so she puts this passion to work by helping others with their real estate needs. On her own time, she enjoys such hobbies as digital illustration (Children's books), watercolor, etching, walking, reading, writing, motor biking, archery and pistol target shooting. BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY: Terri enjoys the challenges of real estate and becomes excited, along with her buyers, as she helps them find a property that is right for them. She has a knack for seeing the potential of a property and, with a degree in Art & Design from Towson University; she can help you, too, to visualize those possibilities. For her sellers Terri makes staging suggestions (a pared down form of decoration), which is based on her sales experience to make the property shine while she uses her understanding of recent sale comparables to properly price your home. AFFILIATIONS: Terri is a proud member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Post 116 in Reisterstown, a member of the American Legion Riders, and a member of ABATE of Maryland (a motorcycle rights advocacy group). COMMUNITIES SERVED: Rather than conduct real estate across the state Terri chooses to work only in those counties she feels most knowledgeable: All Carroll County communities and those areas in Baltimore County and Frederick County that are near to Carroll. This is her "stomping ground" and she believes it's best to focus on an area you know best. If you have a need to search in another region, she will refer you to an agent who is well versed in that neighborhood.

MARY WALTON joins us from RE/MAX Results in Frederick, Maryland. Her decision to change her business model from one of lead generation to working exclusively by referrals prompted her to make the move to Old Westminster Realty, Inc. She lives in Finksburg with her husband Aaron and her daughter Sarah, along with several pets.
Mary is a strong supporter of volunteering in the community and is a member of the GFWC Junior Women's Club of Westminster, as well as the 2012-2014 State Director of Junior Clubs for Maryland on the state level. After a career in information technology and project management, Mary decided in 2005 to switch to a field more focused on people. Becoming a Realtor allowed her to do just that - and she loves working with people to achieve their real estate goals, whatever they might be.
Having a technical background enables Mary to use technology available today to help her clients reach their real estate goals tomorrow. Realizing the importance of staying informed and educated with regards to real estate, she has invested the time necessary to earn and maintain the GRI, ABR and CDPE designations. Mary has found that this combination of technology and education makes her an asset to her clients in the buying and/or selling of their homes.
HER MOTTO SAYS IT ALL: It's all about you.
